The pictures in the disk are bigger, so there’s the need for some rescaling. While loading them on the memory is pretty fast… rescaling with good quality and them blitting takes a little while. The loading is also actually because we are buffering 5 photos
(2 ahead, 2 previous one in the middle)

I have one question: Why the photos must be “loaded” since youre not loading them from Internet? The 770 hardware cant load them instantly?

We actually don’t use scratchbox, but I don’t see why it couldn’t be tested there.
We develop inside the regular linux desktop =)

So, does this mean that we’ll get a OS2006 edition? Or the 770 users’ll have to stick with the hacker edition in order to use Canola2?
