I really like your application. I find it very usefull. I was wondering if it is possible to reduce the size of the applets or move them vertical instead of horizontal.

Awesome application, great usability, thanks a lot! Who wants to bye my iPod? :)

Since you're wishing to get feedback, here are my feature requests for future versions:

1) A caching mechanism on rssmmc for podcasts would be cool. The user would be able to scrub through the medium and leave the wifiarea without interrupting the playback.

2) Videocasts: Since the 770 plays 3GP- and (adjusted) MPEG4-files out of the box, the possibility to subscribe to videocasts that enclose these media would make sense. I didn't tried canola's videofunctionality so far, so processing other codecs (e.g. via libavcodec) is already possible!?!

Best regards,
Fabian

Hey you said "it already runs on the desktop".

I tried to add the same repositories as in te 770, because i saw a i386-binary folder under dists in the canola repository, but there isn't any packages.gz in mistral neither in sirocco.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you !!

it already runs on the desktop, and I have personal plans of making a little different ui for the TV and possible a remote control designed also for that. this control could be home brew. Let's see how it goes =)

--handful--

just tried with twonky and works exellent, it does the job and does it well!! but is the only one in liunx that i suceed to run OK.

There is any plan to port canola to a normal Desktop? I'm dreaming of a canola-powered media center side-to-side of my television :P The only thing i found similar to canola up to now is Elisa from fluendo, but, not as far as eye-candy as canola (personal opinion, of course).
