Installation Problems FIXED! Please TRY AGAIN!

Andrunko FIXED it. the repository has just been updated. Please anyone that had problems, please try again:

For those of you experiencing libsoup issues, please try to update the canola package and see if the error persists.
If you already installed canola, you may have to uninstall it and install again (update will not work)

    Hey Handful
I’m with the nokia with firmware OS2006 v1 (so i’m assuming using the ‘mistral ‘ instead of ’scirroco’ for the Distribution as explained for the application Catalog

Once this passed ok, I’ve got Canola listed within the user/multimedia section, I click to download it –> which happens so the application downloads its 3.10 MB package but once the download ends (and the progress bar is filled) the application manager says within a popup box ‘Download impossible:Packet not found’…(its barely translated from french but you got the idea)

Moreover, I see that Canola hans’t been installed at all by viewing my ‘installed applications tab’

I will post into the Garage section if it helps
    Regards,
    FS

    Hi,

It look like there is a mistake in the html code of released Canola.

In the administration interface port 9000 the links are good if you use icons, but the link “Feeds” at bottom point to canola-feeds.html (must be config-feeds.html).

I have fixed this with :

    cd /usr/share/canola-config

    grep canola-feeds *

Then editing all related .html files and replaced “canola-feeds.html” by “config-feeds.html”.

    Hope it help …

    A++

Keep up the good work !!!

    People with clinkc0 problem:
Download and install this package: http://repository.maemo.org/pool/scirocco/free/c/clinkc/clinkc0_1.0-28.1_armel.deb (using dpkg -i or red pill mode), then try again.
    Worked for me!
